Ivana Habazin (34) godinu je dana živjela u sportskoj dvorani jer nije imala za stan. Pored dvorane bio je fast food u vlasništvu njezina prijatelja, i tu bi jela jedan obrok dnevno da ne ostane gladna. Četiri godine provela je u samostanu u želji da bude časna sestra, ali se ipak odlučila za svjetovni život, pisao je Jutarnji list o hrvatskoj boksačici koja je po treći put u karijeri osvojila je naslov profesionalne svjetske prvakinje pobijedivši u KC "Dražen Petrović" jednoglasnom odlukom sudaca Mađaricu Kingu Magyar u meču za pojas po WBC verziji i privremeni pojas po WBA verziji u velter kategoriji (-67 kg).

U treningu je, kaže nam, stalno i za nju odmora gotovo da i nema. Jedan dan u tjednu se odmara, i to nedjeljom. Nikada nije išla u noćne izlaske i kaže nam da nikad i neće "ni da se sto puta rodi". Tako je i Novu godinu dočekala je mirno kod kuće. "Bila sam doma, pogledala sam dokumentarac i u ponoć otišla spavati. S obzirom na to da inače zaspim oko devet navečer pogotovo u trenažnom procesu, ovo mi je već bilo kasno. No, lijepo je započeti novu godinu s velikim ciljem."

Prije boksa bavila se raznim sportovima, isprobala je nogomet, košarku, odbojku, stolni tenis, no ništa je nije zadržalo. Kao 19-godišnjakinja je tko zna koliko puta gledala kultni film "Rocky", i to četvrti dio.

- Ne mogu reći da mi se bilo što svidjelo u filmu. U jednom trenu dogodilo se kao glas koji mi govori: počni se baviti boksom, bit ćeš svjetska prvakinja! Sama sebi sam se nasmijala i rekla: ti nisi normalna! I ne znam postoji li itko od žena da boksa u Hrvatskoj. Ali onda mi ponovno prolazi misao i kao da čujem glas koji mi govori: bit ćeš svjetska prvakinja! Tada sam rekla sama sebi: ok, bit ću svjetska prvakinja, dobra sam u ostalim sportovima, bit ću i u boksu. I tako je krenulo - prisjetila se za Jutarnji list.

Bilo joj je samo sedam mjeseci kad joj je tata poginuo u prometnoj nesreći, a dvije godine poslije mama Đurđica udala se za čovjeka s kojim Ivana nije bila u dobrim odnosima. Bila je vezana uz baku i pokojnog djeda, mamine roditelje koji su joj bili najveći oslonac.

Nakon osnovne škole, nakon duhovnih vježbi odlučila je da želi postati redovnica. Majka je zaplakala kad joj je to rekla, ali nitko je nije odgovarao. Kaže nam da njezini najbliži možda i nisu bili presretni zbog njezine odluke, ali je bila svojeglava otkad zna za sebe.

- Ono što bih željela i odlučila držala bih se toga, tako da su jednostavno poštovali moju odluku.

Otišla je u samostan, gdje su imali pravila o ustajanju, spavanju, molitvi, misi, radnim aktivnostima i drugim obvezama.

Nakon četiri godine ipak se odlučila vratiti svjetovnom životu, no bilo je zahtjevno priviknuti se na drugačiji način života.

- Rekla bih da je ljudska raznovrsnost bila glavni okidač da odem iz samostana. Kad sam otišla iz samostana, narednih pola godine bilo je jedno od težih razdoblja u mom životu jer, kad si iz male sredine, podložan si ismijavanju, ruganju, lošim epitetima. Tako da nije bilo lako priviknuti se na sve to, ali kako kažu - što te ne ubije, to te ojača. Ja znam da je Bog imao plan, i za sve što sada imam ja sam Bogu zahvalna, a najvažnije je da sam sretna.

Ivana Habazin (34) godinu je dana živjela u sportskoj dvorani jer nije imala za stan. Pored dvorane bio je fast food u vlasništvu njezina prijatelja, i tu bi jela jedan obrok dnevno da ne ostane gladna. Četiri godine provela je u samostanu u želji da bude časna sestra, ali se ipak odlučila za svjetovni život, pisao je Jutarnji list o hrvatskoj boksačici koja je po treći put u karijeri osvojila je naslov profesionalne svjetske prvakinje pobijedivši u KC "Dražen Petrović" jednoglasnom odlukom sudaca Mađaricu Kingu Magyar u meču za pojas po WBC verziji i privremeni pojas po WBA verziji u velter kategoriji (-67 kg).

U treningu je, kaže nam, stalno i za nju odmora gotovo da i nema. Jedan dan u tjednu se odmara, i to nedjeljom. Nikada nije išla u noćne izlaske i kaže nam da nikad i neće "ni da se sto puta rodi". Tako je i Novu godinu dočekala je mirno kod kuće. "Bila sam doma, pogledala sam dokumentarac i u ponoć otišla spavati. S obzirom na to da inače zaspim oko devet navečer pogotovo u trenažnom procesu, ovo mi je već bilo kasno. No, lijepo je započeti novu godinu s velikim ciljem."

Prije boksa bavila se raznim sportovima, isprobala je nogomet, košarku, odbojku, stolni tenis, no ništa je nije zadržalo. Kao 19-godišnjakinja je tko zna koliko puta gledala kultni film "Rocky", i to četvrti dio.

- Ne mogu reći da mi se bilo što svidjelo u filmu. U jednom trenu dogodilo se kao glas koji mi govori: počni se baviti boksom, bit ćeš svjetska prvakinja! Sama sebi sam se nasmijala i rekla: ti nisi normalna! I ne znam postoji li itko od žena da boksa u Hrvatskoj. Ali onda mi ponovno prolazi misao i kao da čujem glas koji mi govori: bit ćeš svjetska prvakinja! Tada sam rekla sama sebi: ok, bit ću svjetska prvakinja, dobra sam u ostalim sportovima, bit ću i u boksu. I tako je krenulo - prisjetila se za Jutarnji list.

Bilo joj je samo sedam mjeseci kad joj je tata poginuo u prometnoj nesreći, a dvije godine poslije mama Đurđica udala se za čovjeka s kojim Ivana nije bila u dobrim odnosima. Bila je vezana uz baku i pokojnog djeda, mamine roditelje koji su joj bili najveći oslonac.

Nakon osnovne škole, nakon duhovnih vježbi odlučila je da želi postati redovnica. Majka je zaplakala kad joj je to rekla, ali nitko je nije odgovarao. Kaže nam da njezini najbliži možda i nisu bili presretni zbog njezine odluke, ali je bila svojeglava otkad zna za sebe.

- Ono što bih željela i odlučila držala bih se toga, tako da su jednostavno poštovali moju odluku.

Otišla je u samostan, gdje su imali pravila o ustajanju, spavanju, molitvi, misi, radnim aktivnostima i drugim obvezama.

Nakon četiri godine ipak se odlučila vratiti svjetovnom životu, no bilo je zahtjevno priviknuti se na drugačiji način života.

- Rekla bih da je ljudska raznovrsnost bila glavni okidač da odem iz samostana. Kad sam otišla iz samostana, narednih pola godine bilo je jedno od težih razdoblja u mom životu jer, kad si iz male sredine, podložan si ismijavanju, ruganju, lošim epitetima. Tako da nije bilo lako priviknuti se na sve to, ali kako kažu - što te ne ubije, to te ojača. Ja znam da je Bog imao plan, i za sve što sada imam ja sam Bogu zahvalna, a najvažnije je da sam sretna.
