UFC-ova teška kategorija doživjela je pravu zbrku krajem 2023. godine. Legendarni Jon Jones vratio se nakon trogodišnje pauze i odlaska iz poluteške kategorije na UFC-u 285 u ožujku 2023. U svom povratku svladao je Ciryla Ganea gušenjem giljotinom u prvoj rundi za upražnjeni naslov prvaka nakon što je bivši prvak, Francis Ngannou, napustio promociju ranije te godine kako bi se posvetio boksu i pridružio promociji Professional Fighters League (PFL) - piše Fightsite.

Jones, koji ima 35 godina, trebao je braniti svoj naslov protiv najuspješnijeg prvaka teške kategorije, Stipe Miočića, na UFC-u 295 u studenom 2023. godine. Miočić, star 41 godinu, nije se borio otkako je izgubio naslov od Ngannoua nokautom u drugoj rundi u ožujku 2021. godine. Nažalost, Jonesova ozljeda prsnog mišića spriječila je njihovu borbu i dovela je do stvaranja privremenog naslova kojeg je osvojio Tom Aspinall nokautiravši Sergeija Pavlovicha.

"Tom je dobar prvak, odličan prvak", rekao je Miočić na JAXXON PODCAST-u. "On je jak. Mlad i gladan. Doći ćemo do njega kada budemo morali, ali ja želim Jona Jonesa.‘‘

"Nije me briga za naslov. Samo želim borbu s Jonom Jonesom. Možemo se boriti samo ja i on", nastavio je. "Samo mu ne treba dopustiti da diktira što želi u našem meču. Bilo koja borba, ne samo Jon Jones. Nemojte dopustiti da oni diktiraju što žele raditi. Ako im dopustite da rade što žele, onda je to kraj puta za vas. Gotovi ste."

Jones je nedavno izbacio ideju borbe s prvakom u poluteškoj kategoriji, Alexom Pereirom, umjesto potencijalnog susreta s Aspinallom. Međutim, Miočić ne odustaje i očekuje da će njegov meč s "Bonesom" biti održan u sličnom vremenskom okviru kao što je i bilo prvotno planirano.

"Naravno da sam sljedeći. To je ono što želim", rekao je Miočić. "Čekat ću. Ne brinem, želim tu borbu.‘‘

"Govorili su o srpnju, to je prošlo", zaključio je. "Mislim više - opet u studenom u New Yorku."

UFC-ova teška kategorija doživjela je pravu zbrku krajem 2023. godine. Legendarni Jon Jones vratio se nakon trogodišnje pauze i odlaska iz poluteške kategorije na UFC-u 285 u ožujku 2023. U svom povratku svladao je Ciryla Ganea gušenjem giljotinom u prvoj rundi za upražnjeni naslov prvaka nakon što je bivši prvak, Francis Ngannou, napustio promociju ranije te godine kako bi se posvetio boksu i pridružio promociji Professional Fighters League (PFL) - piše Fightsite.

Jones, koji ima 35 godina, trebao je braniti svoj naslov protiv najuspješnijeg prvaka teške kategorije, Stipe Miočića, na UFC-u 295 u studenom 2023. godine. Miočić, star 41 godinu, nije se borio otkako je izgubio naslov od Ngannoua nokautom u drugoj rundi u ožujku 2021. godine. Nažalost, Jonesova ozljeda prsnog mišića spriječila je njihovu borbu i dovela je do stvaranja privremenog naslova kojeg je osvojio Tom Aspinall nokautiravši Sergeija Pavlovicha.

"Nije me briga za naslov. Samo želim borbu s Jonom Jonesom. Možemo se boriti samo ja i on", nastavio je. "Samo mu ne treba dopustiti da diktira što želi u našem meču. Bilo koja borba, ne samo Jon Jones. Nemojte dopustiti da oni diktiraju što žele raditi. Ako im dopustite da rade što žele, onda je to kraj puta za vas. Gotovi ste."

Jones je nedavno izbacio ideju borbe s prvakom u poluteškoj kategoriji, Alexom Pereirom, umjesto potencijalnog susreta s Aspinallom. Međutim, Miočić ne odustaje i očekuje da će njegov meč s "Bonesom" biti održan u sličnom vremenskom okviru kao što je i bilo prvotno planirano.

"Naravno da sam sljedeći. To je ono što želim", rekao je Miočić. "Čekat ću. Ne brinem, želim tu borbu.‘‘

UFC-ova teška kategorija doživjela je pravu zbrku krajem 2023. godine. Legendarni Jon Jones vratio se nakon trogodišnje pauze i odlaska iz poluteške kategorije na UFC-u 285 u ožujku 2023. U svom povratku svladao je Ciryla Ganea gušenjem giljotinom u prvoj rundi za upražnjeni naslov prvaka nakon što je bivši prvak, Francis Ngannou, napustio promociju ranije te godine kako bi se posvetio boksu i pridružio promociji Professional Fighters League (PFL) - piše Fightsite.

Jones, koji ima 35 godina, trebao je braniti svoj naslov protiv najuspješnijeg prvaka teške kategorije, Stipe Miočića, na UFC-u 295 u studenom 2023. godine. Miočić, star 41 godinu, nije se borio otkako je izgubio naslov od Ngannoua nokautom u drugoj rundi u ožujku 2021. godine. Nažalost, Jonesova ozljeda prsnog mišića spriječila je njihovu borbu i dovela je do stvaranja privremenog naslova kojeg je osvojio Tom Aspinall nokautiravši Sergeija Pavlovicha.

"Tom je dobar prvak, odličan prvak", rekao je Miočić na JAXXON PODCAST-u. "On je jak. Mlad i gladan. Doći ćemo do njega kada budemo morali, ali ja želim Jona Jonesa.‘‘

"Nije me briga za naslov. Samo želim borbu s Jonom Jonesom. Možemo se boriti samo ja i on", nastavio je. "Samo mu ne treba dopustiti da diktira što želi u našem meču. Bilo koja borba, ne samo Jon Jones. Nemojte dopustiti da oni diktiraju što žele raditi. Ako im dopustite da rade što žele, onda je to kraj puta za vas. Gotovi ste."

Jones je nedavno izbacio ideju borbe s prvakom u poluteškoj kategoriji, Alexom Pereirom, umjesto potencijalnog susreta s Aspinallom. Međutim, Miočić ne odustaje i očekuje da će njegov meč s "Bonesom" biti održan u sličnom vremenskom okviru kao što je i bilo prvotno planirano.

"Naravno da sam sljedeći. To je ono što želim", rekao je Miočić. "Čekat ću. Ne brinem, želim tu borbu.‘‘

"Govorili su o srpnju, to je prošlo", zaključio je. "Mislim više - opet u studenom u New Yorku."
